Any association, corporation, partnership or individual proprietorship whose continuity in its own right or as successor to an organization in business for more than 100 years is eligible for membership. Organizations that have been in existence for at least 75 years may join as associate members. The Century Society is open to individuals interested in supporting the Association and its mission.
The Hundred Year Association is a not-for-profit organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Membership levels are based on the number of employees the member has:
More than 300 employees - $450
100 – 300 employees - $350
Under 100 employees and not-for-profit organizations - $250

For the most part, their successes and civic-minded support goes unnoticed. One of our primary goals, therefore, is to bring much deserved attention to these establishments, the work they’ve done, and the work they continue to do.

The Association can assist in the coordination and promotion of anniversary and other member celebrations.
Membership Directory
Includes listing of members in print and online with corporate identification, founding date, principal officers, industry and contact information so that members can first seek to do members with other members and so that they can easily be found by those seeking out century-old businesses.
Operation, Logistic and Marketing Support
The Association has sought out and partnered with industry experts in the fields of marketing, public relations, media production, transportation and communications to streamline operations and logistics. Members are eligible to receive a discount or for the Association to receive support.
Opportunity for Named Company Public Service Awards and College Scholarships
Principal of company presents award with the Mayor and City commissioners at City Hall. Corporate and organizational recognition is included in City Hall program, press release, membership directory and annual Gold Medal Award Dinner program and recognized as a member of the Governors Council
Nomination of Distinguished Service Awards
Members may nominate potential recipients of Distinguished Service Awards in acknowledgment of business and not-for-profit leadership in New York City.
Excellence in Public Service Awards
Presented to individuals and organizations in recognition of unique contributions to the community.

Invitation to attend the Annual Investment Forecast — an presentation by top investment officers from major member companies — and other relevant industry-specific evenings that address the issues affecting our city and environment with valuable networking opportunities.

Receive invitations to annual Gold Medal Award and Distinguished Service Award dinners and to informational forums by sponsoring members.
