Description: Scottish men and women, their partners and descendents, all agree that Burns night is an event you cannot miss!! Burns night gatherings have been part of the Scottish culture for well over 200 years and every year the New York Caledonian Club celebrates the great Robert Burns in style with a sold out dinner and Ceilidh dance.

A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, author of many Scots poems including “Auld Lang Syne.” The suppers are normally held on or near the poet’s birthday, 25 January, sometimes also known as Robert Burns Day. Burns Suppers occur wherever there are Burns Clubs, Scottish Societies, expatriate Scots, or lovers of Burns’ poetry. Our Burns Supper will have traditional Scottish food such as Haggis, neeps and taddies, Whisky. The evening will include other Burns Supper traditions such as “Address to the Haggis”, “The Immortal Memory” and “Toast to the Lassies”. We will also have ceilidh dancing during the evening.

As a unique Scottish occasion, it has become a popular celebration in which we welcome everyone to join us!

The last day that you can order tickets from our website is Wednesday, January 20.
