“Under Mayor Bloomberg’s leadership, we have created seven NYC Business Solutions Centers across all five boroughs. These Centers provide free services to help small businesses start, operate, and expand. This year, NYC Business Solutions Centers have connected more than 500 businesses to loans totaling more than $56 million, helped launch over 200 new businesses, and provided business courses to more than 3,000 business owners and entrepreneurs. Since Hurricane Sandy, our Centers have stepped up and connected more than 100 businesses impacted by the storm to over $2.7 million, through our Emergency Loan Fund.”
