The Hundred Year Association records the founding of business, professional, educational, religious and other charitable organizations that have been in existence for one century or longer. We promote member history and assist member organizations in celebrating milestone events with activities providing a public purpose.

Any association, corporation, partnership or individual proprietorship whose continuity in its own right or as successor to an organization in business for more than 100 years is eligible for membership. Organizations 75 years or older may join as associate members. The Century Society is open to individuals interested in supporting the Association and its mission.

Core Association Activities Include:

• Highlighting the achievements and diverse history of public and private institutions that have been in existence for at least one hundred years.
• Rewarding New York City leaders and career civil service employees for outstanding achievements and public service.
• Sponsoring college scholarships for sons and daughters of civil employees who demonstrate academic excellence, school and community service and leadership.

The Hundred Year Association of New York is a not-for-profit organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
