Krista Behrens, an employee of the Bank of New York (1785), and Sergei Mizevych from the Ukraine, met through mutual friends in Moscow.

They married during their lunch hour at City Hall on December 18, 2006.

As they walked around the city in the evening, the poster for the Oratorio Society of New York (1873) Messiah performance caught their eye. They had never heard the Messiah before and decided it was the perfect way to spend their first evening as husband and wife together. They bought tickets for the upper balcony and pronounced the performance “Beautiful” and “Affordable.”

Best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Mizevych!
