Eighteen years after becoming a woman-business-enterprise (WBE), McRoberts Protective Agency (1876) has obtained certification by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC). The WBENC certification is accepted by over 700 major corporations and a number of federal and government agencies. This certification will give McRoberts well-earned exposure among decision makers in corporate supplier diversity and procurement departments.

The certification process is thorough and detailed and took close to a year to complete. The process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman and includes an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. McRoberts has been owned, operated and controlled by Meredith McRoberts since 1990.
